  • 8:35am - Moderator Ms. Susan Dentzer, Editor-in-chief of Health Affairs, shares event overview and outlines half-day program.

  • 8:45am–9:30am - Dr. James Hospedales, Senior Advisor, Prevention and Control of Chronic Diseases, Pan-American Health Organization, provides remarks to frame the discussion of chronic disease and prevention. Audience Q&A to follow.

  • 9:30am-9:45am - Exercise break.

  • 9:45am-10:45am - Mr. John Harris, Chief Well-Being Officer and Vice President Innovations, Healthways, and Ms. Katie Bell, Partner, Gallup Healthcare Group, to present on the Gallup-Healthways Well-Being Index. Audience Q&A to follow.
