Amal Morcos has over 20 years of experience in the field of international educational and cultural exchange programs. Amal was nominated for the NCIV Excellence Programming Award in the years 2003, 2004, 2007, 2010 and 2011. Amal’s previous experience included coordinating and supervising a series of workshops on election issues awareness for Palestinian women in the West Bank/Gaza (a USAID project) in 1994 and managing USIA’s English Language Fellow Program for Eastern/Central Europe, Russia and the NIS from 1995-1997. She also served as Administrative Officer at the Binational Fulbright Commission in Cairo, Egypt from 1979-1985, where she assisted in establishing an English Teaching Program for USIS/Alexandria. Amal trained in public relations at McGill University and studied business administration at Concordia University in Montreal. She lived in Canada for 10 years. She is fluent in Arabic and English and is proficient in French.
